Natalie Cournoyea, M.A., Psychotherapist, practices counselling and therapy in Mississauga, Brampton, Whitby and Burlington under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Natalie Cournoyea has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Toronto. She has a Registered Nursing Diploma from George Brown College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Administrative Studies from York University and a Master of Health Science Degree from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
To adjunct Natalie’s experience in counselling and psychotherapy, she has over 35 years experience in health care, in both the acute care hospital sector, rehabilitation, and government. In her various roles in the patient services areas, she prides herself on her ability to coach and mentor individuals in their clinical decision making, conflict resolution and communication within their professional interpersonal relationships.
Natalie provides counselling and psychotherapy services for individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families. Her main areas of interest are stress management, anxiety, relationships, parenting issues, career counselling, work-related issues, loss and grief counselling, sex addiction and conflict resolution. Natalie is the mother of two young adults and brings a wealth of life experience into her practice.
