Rebecca Hodson , Infertility Counsellor, Fertility Coach, RYT-Fertility Yoga and Doula: A member of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC), Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychotherapists and Psychometrists (OACCPP), Canadian Yoga Alliance (CYA) and Childbirth and Postpartum Partum Professional Association (CAPPA Canada).
Rebecca has passion, empathy and the ability to uniquely counsel those struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss. Rebecca understands her clients since she shares a similar experience. She has facilitated support groups in Halton for the past 4 years and has a private counselling practice in Burlington.
She specializes in Grief and Bereavement for infertility and pregnancy loss. She helps couples cope and maintain balance in life when faced with the challenges of having a baby in a non-traditional way. Rebecca addresses issues pertaining to infertility such as, sadness, anxiety, loss of control, self-esteem, grief, anger, communication and third party reproduction (Sperm, egg or embryo donation).
She is a wonderful resource for referrals to Naturopathic Doctors, Fertility Clinics, Sperm banks and other professional health care providers.
She is a certified Fertility Yoga Instructor through the Canadian Yoga Alliance. Rebecca uses therapeutic Fertility Yoga to encourage feelings of well-being that relates to increased fertility. She teaches classes on a weekly basis and offers private or couples fertility yoga.
Rebecca continues to be an important part of the fertility community. She gives key note speeches to professionals about the emotional impacts of infertility.
