Limor Mendelovitz BSW, MSW, RSW

Limor is a registered social worker with over ten years’ experience providing clinical therapy. Limor received her BSW from Ashkelon Academic College (Israel) and her MSW from the University of Waterloo (Canada). During her undergraduate program, Limor specialized in individual, group and family therapy from the perspective of Psychoanalysis and CBT models, and specialized in health at the graduate level. Limor’s combined education and experience allows her to provide clinical therapy for a wide range of health issues, including: mental health (anxiety, depression and personality disorders); addictions (substance use and behavioural); trauma (abuse, crisis, illness) and disabilities (developmental delays, autism, learning and physical).

Limor is a passionate psychotherapist (OCSWSSW), highly motivated to help her clients improve their well-being by applying therapeutic models based on client needs. Limor practices Psychoanalysis to help uncover motives and reasons as well as utilising evidence based practices (EBP) such as CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strength Based Therapy to reveal clients’ inner strength and learn self-support tools.

All treatment plans provided by Limor are culturally sensitive and adjusted to clients’ personal needs, including clients from different ethnic/religion minorities and from the LGBTQ2S community. Limor is committed to a safe space setting, where any of her clients can feel comfortable to open up and share without being judged.
